calla slush!!

Also when you first get your callas dip the ends of the stems in boiling water which should kill off any nasty things lurking on them...and then as said only a small amount of water in the vase...

Believe it or not............
We had calla for a wedding on the 31st March and now nearly a month on they are STILL sitting in the shop looking lovely. they have just started to lose their colour!

Not one has gone mushy, they been in water pearls! Seem to love it

funny maybe something going around i don't normally have problems with them and had a complaint today my ladies didn't last 14hrs the next day they had gone to mush!!! replaced her flowers with others and will speak to dutch man on monday! lucky it wasn't a wedding crap! i got one in a couple of weeks with lots of callas arrrrr

Er.......31st March......29th June....nearly three months for those of us who stayed on Earth, but as you were way with the doctor exploring far off galaxies i can understand the missing months

I've had the same problem with Calla plants - got to shop other morning & 3 of them were just a stinky black mush on to of the plant pot!!??
perhaps there is a calla disease around this year???? (hope not - next weekends wedding has 75 of them, and its on a sunday so if they die i'm buggered!)
