Gerbera Care?
How do all care for your gerbera when they come in.? We keep ours on the card and put them in the coldroom. Today my dutch man says that he has other customers who keep them out of the coldroom and take them straight off the card ? Apparantly they dont like the coldroom? Ive never heard that and just wondered what you all do?

Ours stay on the card and straight into the cold room when conditioned come up to the shop in 6's they have been doing this for years never had any bother with them yet

Ive never been happy putting bleach in flowers . but have used the Gerbera tablets and they smell bleachy?

Never used the Gerbera tablets. Just a small amount of bleach, enough to kill an bacteria. Don't use it with any other flowers.

Well so they say...ive never done them without bleach so cant really compare, but unless the come in out of shape they usually stay straight.

i usually keep them on the card if they come in like that, i was told it keeps them straight, and i have used the tablets and i think it does make a slight difference.
