Hydrangeas
Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to get some advice on hydrangeas please ![]() I see alot of people use them in bride's handtieds, but I have always been so nervous to use them as I know they are thirsty flowers and worry about them being out of water for any length of time. I also put some of the white one's in oasis once and they were dreadful! Just died on me within the day. Can anyone give me some advice? Thankyou so much, A x |

Thankyou Mr. T
I will certainly adopt that flower conditioning next time I use them. They are just so so lovely and I really want to recommend them to my bride's but I am just so worried. Can you imagine all her piccies? Droppy flowers in her bouquet ! ![]() Do you find them OK in oasis aswell? A x |

sometimes but do prefer to use them in handtieds I find they can drink better...again if using them in oasis soak it in water full of flower food again... but as I say they can be a bit hit and miss...unfortunately the only way you find out is after you ahve bought them!

When putting them in Oasis, lay a piece of same-colour tissue on the Oasis surface first, that way if you get any shrinkage from the hydrangea, you just see a bit of pink/purple/white tissue, far less unsightly than green foam!
