Lightbulb Phalanopsis Orchid Plant

How do you water Phalanopsis orchids? I have two beautiful specimens that need my attention. They are still flowering and are in a bark chip type medium with the routes popping over the top.

I don't want them to die.

Some sites say to boil and cool water and give 2 tablespoons on the roots 1/week. Others say to emerse them in water, but not get petals wet.

Help!

I just spray mine every couple of days. They do not like too much water and prefer to get it from the air thats why they tend to do well in bathrooms

hi jake i have a couple too, and i tend to run them under the tap for 30 seconds then leave them on the drainig board for 10 minutes to make sure all the excess water drains away, seems to work for me theyve been flowering for 3 months now.

Orchids don't really survive in a bigger pot as all the growth goes to the roots which like a tight fit
