How long
For how long should flowers be taken out of water for before giving them to the bride and bridesmaid so the water doesn't leak on to their dresses??

We tend to 'handle up' hand ties first thing in the morning regardless of what time the wedding is. We trim down and dry off the stems before putting the ribbon on. IME, the only ones to really watch are narcissi, they need cutting down and repeated drying off before ribboning as the stems ooze for ages after being cut.

fly keeps his hairdryer in his toolbox because he has no hair left to use it with. Don't worry though fly, some american scientists have found a cure- apparently hitting the bald spot repeatdley encourages new growth. I'll pop round with my piece of 2x4 later and test out their theory ok?

i think they have located the gene for baldness http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6661849.stm

so there is hope for us both lol

btw we have been known to use the heater in the van to dry off ends just before delivery lol
