just opened todays post and i am going into hiding next time the flowers arrive[oh no 2morrow morning] calling daughter to say im not feeling to well. spiders frogs NO WAY. we got aconitum a few weeks ago, after a few hours i noticed a trail of ants going up and down the bucket and all over the shop floor, i freaked out called in my better half and fumigated the shop. Why did i pick floristry?

We got a tree frog from Ecuador boxed in with our heliconias and exotic greenery. Poor wee thing was so skinny I thought he wouldn't make it but he has doubled in size since he arrived in October. Had to buy him a nice big tank and heatpad... light...substrate... mopani wood to climb on.... and live crickets every week. Bluddy immigrant frog, costing me a fortune!!! His name is Signor Paco Esteban, and my 4 year-old son loves him dearly, especially when he leaps across the tank for a cricket, then blinks owlishly to help swallow it down... bleurch!

The chap from the tropicals company says they have about a dozen in a massive tank in their office

aww i want a tree frog..frogs are so cute we are next to the canal so we have loads, when the babies hatch you see em all hopping across the lawn i have to rescue them from all the local cats!

they won't hurt you and they eat slugs, frogs that is...all spiders bite but it's only big ones you have to worry about

nooooooooo frogs just sit there, ribbit and look cute... spiders are hairy and scary and run like the wind! i also suspect the large pony sized ones eat mice and small children!
