Does anyone else use the Gerbera Viagara? I find the tablets really good and lengthen the life of the gerbera considerably.

Yes..had some good feedback from customers (shops, pubs) who used them and they do make a difference.

Hi Florence,
After you've made a cuppa keep the teabags and pop them into your buckets. Apparently the tealeaves have some sort of antibacterial properties and this helps to keep the flowers from going mouldy. Hope you drink lots of tea!

that's something I didn't know. I am not allowed to bleach buckets because of the sewerage system. The antibacterial properties might make up for not being able to bleach. I scrub my buckets daily and it's hard going.

i'd never heard of this before - but thinking about it, it makes sense - you use cold tea on burns because of the anteseptic properties - think i feel an experiment coming on.. .

I'm so sorry. I was being rude. Er, teabagging is actually a, ahem, sexual practise! You can buy something called a t bag which actually does the job but its nothing to do with tea leaves! PMF was being her usual helpful self! :
