Mouldy Gerberas
Do any of you seem to be having problems the last couple of weeks with gerberas?

Mine seem to be going slightly mouldy in the centre after only 2 days.

They go into fresh water and clean vases which have chrysal solution no. 2 in.

Never seem to have had this problem before

i have been having major problems with them this week, my wholesaler assured me they were fresh but he said that they had also been having problems, i have sent a few bad rackets back this week and they replaced them no bother, so you are not alone

I had manky ones this week and the quality doesn't seem as good as usual. I thought it was because its been pretty warm here.

Had problems with gerbs, roses and anthuriums particularly with one supplier, have written to them because the lads on the van take no notice. Have been told by another supplier that because it is a bit quiet they could be holding stuff back so it is older than usual.

have any of u used the tea bags, we havnt had any problems wiyh gerbras since using them. Last year we had problems in the summer.

Here in Denmark we have the same problems with the gebara, rose, crys m.m

I think it was the warm 25-30

Many of the flower we get from Netherlands.

we use T bags for all our flowers find they give good results and soo easy

our dutch man said something about the sudden changes in temperature affecting stuff..we had some rubbish stuff off him last week i will be complaining!
